Pearls are luxurious items greatly praised by high-society women and so is their hidden necessity to keep up appearances in front of that selected community.
This piece aims to create a bond between lifestyle and drug dependence.
The pearl sequence supports, morphologically, the pillbox shape. The hinged pillbox evokes oyster shells which nest, inside, the object of dependence.
